Travis was a co-worker with me at Excite@Home. On one occasion he encountered a particularly difficult issue while assisting a customer. After investigating the issue I found that the proxy servers in use in the customers area were not responding and we simply needed to bypass the proxies. This is the very generous e-mail that Travis sent to me in response to my assistance. Darcy, Thanks again for your help on that weird proxy/dns issue this morning. It ended up that he had to "Direct Connect to the Internet." And that fixed his problem. I really appreciate knowing that when I see your name on the phone when I call HD that I will either get an answer or a helping hand in resolving the problem.
