After Travis received a promotion from Tier II to HelpDesk with Excite@Home I continued to assist him on occasion. In this case the issue was with a customer who was unable to use our service for a specific purpose. I knew of a back door to permanently disable the resetting of proxies within the @Home software and offered this assistance to him so he could help resolve the customers issue. Again, Travis offered me a letter of thanks.

Darcy,

I did inform the customer of this, so he is well aware of how to disable the proxies each time.

He said he only had to get to this site once to do some trouble shooting on it for a few minutes. I guess he is not that concerned that it is that big of a deal.

Thanks again....
